Review the text below for empty profundity, vague claims and filler.
Identify sentences that:
Sound deep but communicate little
Restate a simple idea using dramatic wording
Make broad claims without explaining anything
Repeat a point already made
Exist mainly to make the paragraph sound complete
Create the appearance of insight without providing substance
Rewrite these sentences in plain, precise language or remove them when they add nothing.
Do not flatten genuinely thoughtful writing.
Do not remove useful nuance, strong opinions or intentional rhetorical emphasis.
Preserve the author’s original voice, authority, precision and force.
Do not add new examples, motivation, warmth or smoothing.
If a sentence already makes a clear and useful point, leave it untouched.
For every issue you find, provide:
Current text: Quote the exact phrase or sentence.
Suggested change: Explain what should be removed, shortened or replaced.
Provide replacement wording.
